Castello St Angelo
Our last afternoon in Rome seemed lit by endless hours of golden light as we wandered, thinking we knew where we were going, but usually finding that we did not. As we turned a corner, a distant view of Castel Saint'Angelo appeared. Its round shape is so distinctive and I liked how it was framed by the Roman pine trees. After I painted it, we walked closer. It's huge, and surrounded by a moat, whis is now a wonderful dog park.
